Erotismo quotidiano. La potenza di esistere è la mostra con cui Antonella Zerbinati presenta gli approdi più intimi della sua ricerca artistica. Nella sua opera riesce a condensare padronanza tecnica, capacità visionaria, curiosità conoscitiva, introspezione, esperienza estetica e narrazione drammatica. Soggetto privilegiato del suo realismo grafico è la figura umana nelle sembianze femminili. Il contesto inscenato è il tempo dell'esperienza erotica. Il tema dirompente è il corpo come unico luogo di vita.

Tre serie di lavori scandiscono il percorso espositivo: Erotique de tous les jours, VIRGINIS e Autoritratti. Tre sezioni in cui Antonella Zerbinati esplora in modo onesto, profondo e diretto il complesso mondo dell'eros ripercorrendone sensi, rimandi, significati e rappresentazioni attraverso un verismo espressivo che per composizione e radicalità ricorda i principi essenziali del Teatro Povero, dove la parvenza dell'immagine è spodestata dall'intensità fisica della presenza e lo spazio corporeo - spogliato del superfluo - produce da sé la scena (e il senso) che è allo stesso tempo azione (e percezione).

In questa triplice declinazione tinta di un rosa carnale - tra disegno e pittura, ritratti e autoritratti, trasparenze eteree e addensamenti opachi, gravità ed evanescenze – e sui flussi voluttuosi dell'emozione danzante di un corpo che si piazza, si spiazza, si dispone, sʼimpone e sottrae - si configura lʼErotica pagana di Antonella Zerbinati. Unʼerotica in cui lʼesperienza sensuale è prima di tutto auto individuazione e conoscenza del sé.

Una dinamica conoscitiva che assume chiarezza nelle parole della stessa artista:
«Lʼidea di "Erotismo di tutti i giorni", sembra riferire una connotazione monotona e ripetitiva. In realtà rappresenta un viaggio attraverso stanze fisiche e mentali dove si articolano gesti, movenze, equilibri e relazioni sensuali. e dove avviene la celebrazione del gesto sessuale come atto sacro, il perfetto connubio tra spiritualità e corporeità, tra raziocinio e istinto. Una commistione di azioni, intenzioni, umori, coesistenti in un unico e totalizzante gesto di donazione. La mia ricerca artistica investe una sfera segreta, intima e preziosamente custodita, che accompagna e definisce lʼidentità di una donna in tutta la sua esistenza. Le mie pitture vanno oltre lʼetica; indagano altri territori, più selvaggi ed incomprensibili, che inevitabilmente e spontaneamente si caricano di significati simbolici aggiunti, divenendo così allegorie variamente interpretate ed interpretabili. La verità è che sono sensazioni fisiche e mentali trasformate in materia visiva per poterle rendere manifeste, fascinazioni puramente estetiche ed estatiche che parlano ad ognuno in modo differente. Il messaggio di cui si fanno portatrici è viscerale ed ancestrale, impulsi difficili da tradurre ma forse più facilmente contemplabili grazie alle suggestioni visive della pittura. Il piacere, il dolore, la vergogna, lʼautocompiacimento, lʼestasi, lʼebbrezza, lʼangoscia sono solo alcune parti di un tutto primordiale che si svela in quell'istante in cui possiamo sentirci femmine e donne senza compromessi, lʼistante carnale».

Everyday Erotica. The power of existing is the exhibition with which Pramantha Arte presents the intimate landfalls of  Antonella Zerbinati's artistic research. In her work she is able to condense technical mastery, visionary ability, cognitive curiosity, introspection, aesthetic experience and dramatic storytelling. The female human figure is the favorite subject of her graphic realism. The situation staged in her canvases is the time of erotic experience. The explosive topic of her poetry is the body understood as the only place of life. 

Three series of works mark the exhibition:  Erotique de tous les jour,  Virginis  and  Self-portraits. Three sections in which Antonella Zerbinati explores the complex world of eros in a honest, profound and direct way, retracing its senses, cross-references, meaning and representations through an expressive realism that recalls, in its composition and radicalism, the essential principles of grotowskian  Poor Theatre. A realism where the image appearance is ousted from the physical intensity of subject's presence, while bodily space - stripped of the superfluous - produces by itself the scene (and the meaning), that is action (and perception) at the same time. 

The Erotica of Antonella Zerbinati is configured in this triple declination tint of a carnal pink. Drawing and painting, portraits and self-portraits, ethereal transparencies and opaque thickenings, gravities and evanescences are the voluptuous waves of a dancing emotion of a body that exists, arises, displaces, offers itself and then escapes. An eroticism in which the sensual experience is first and foremost self-identification and self-knowledge.

It is a cognitive dynamic that becomes clear in the words of the artist herself: «The idea of an everyday eroticism seems to report a monotonous and repetitive connotation. Actually, it represents a physical and mental journay through rooms where you articulate gestures, movements, balance and sensual relationships, and where the sexual act is celebrated as a sacred act, as the perfect combination of spirituality and physicality, reason and instinct. A mixture of actions, intentions and moods coexisting in a single, all-encompassing gesture of donation». «My research - says Antonella Zerbinati - invests a secret sphere, intimate and preciously guarded, that accompanies and defines the identity of a woman in her entire life. My paintings go beyond ethics; they watt to investigate other territories, those most savage and incomprehensible, which inevitably and spontaneously are loaded with symbolic added meanings, becoming mere allegories, variously interpreted and interpretable. However, the truth is that some mental and physical sensations are transformed into visual material to make them manifest; purely aesthetic and ecstatic fascinations that speak to each one in a different way. The message of which they are bearers is about visceral and ancestral impulses; a message difficult to translate, but perhaps more easily thinkable thanks to visual suggestions of painting. Pleasure, pain, shame, self-satisfaction, ecstasy, thrill, anguish are only parts of a primordial whole. Something that reveal itself into the moment in which we can feel ourselves female and woman at the same time, without compromise. That moment is the  carnal istant».
